Meghan Markle apparently has a new strategy for her Hollywood domination. Even though both she and Prince Harry have been living in California for well over three years now, the Duchess of Sussex is yet to go back to acting.

But it seems like she thinks now is the right time for her to dip her toes back in the acting pool. Here’s what you need to know.

Meghan doesn’t just want to be a celebrity or television star, she wants to be a Hollywood star. And she will do whatever it takes to make it happen.

One source close to the situation even said, “Meghan has a new team around her and they’ve been strategizing about what mediums will have the most impact.”

What’s more, Meghan also wants to be known as a successful celebrity philanthropist, kind of like Angelina Jolie and the Obamas.

The insider added, “There isn’t anything locked in yet, but the most promising [thing] for everyone seems to be Meghan and Harry highlighting important issues through docuseries and bringing attention and fundraising.”

But it doesn’t seem like a lot of royal critics out there think that the Duchess of Sussex has what it takes to be a power player in the Hollywood sphere.

Some social media comments have included, “The truth is that she can try to reinvent herself or revamp her image all she likes but she cannot erase her disgraceful behavior and will never be accepted by Hollywood. A Californian girl with access to a good education and a multiple Emmy winning father in the tv industry who could get her small speaking roles when she was young.”

Another critic wrote, “Nothing is ever going to work.  One reason being all these articles/PR being printed everyday.  She failed as an actress, Royal, wanna be politician, and pretend everything else. 

If someone has to re-invent herself every 3 months then it is best to look inward.  Unfortunately for her, she would get no reflection in a mirror.”
