Meghan Markle Heartbreak: Duchess Gives Up WHAT For Prince Harry?

Not many would suspect that there might be trouble in paradise for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. That’s true even though there was a lot of negativity and gossip going around even before the Duke and Duchess of Sussex even got married. However, new reports are in that Meghan Markle had to give up something near and dear to her heart in order to appease Harry … and she’s continued to make that sacrifice until this very day.

Now, most Meghan Markle fans know that she famously loves dogs. In fact, some of the charities to which Meghan gave patronage when she was still a senior member of the British Royal family were dog rescue missions. In any case, before Meghan even met Prince Harry she had a couple of dogs that were all her own. One of them had an issue with Prince Harry however when the Prince met him. Eventually, as everyone now knows … it came down to a choice for Meghan … her dog … or her prince.

Obviously, Prince Harry won that argument.

The name of Meghan’s dog, whom she had to abandon in favor of Prince Harry was Bogart. He was Meghan’s first dog and according to reports, the only reason she initially took him home from the pet shelter where she discovered him was that Ellen DeGeneres urged her to do so.

Indeed, those were Meghan’s words concerning the matter: “I brought him home. Because Ellen told me to.” When Meghan learned that Bogart and Prince Harry didn’t get along well, she made the choice to leave the dog with friends in Toronto. Many assume that Bogart is still doing quite well, and it’s clear that Meghan and Harry moved on with other canine friends.

When Prince Harry and Meghan went through the process that has become known as “Megxit,” they took their dogs with them to Vancouver Island in Canada. According to insider information, those same dogs live with them now in the palatial estate of Tyler Perry in the Los Angeles area. These dogs (a beagle and a black Labrador) obviously get on well with Prince Harry. To everyone’s delight, they also behave well around little Prince Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

While some believe that giving up her dog for the sake of the man she was to marry must have been hard on Meghan Markle, she’s clearly fine with it now. Whether it was some huge sacrifice on Meghan’s part or not is really something left up to the interpretation of gossip mongers. After all, no one has really gone and interviewed Meghan specifically concerning her feelings on the matter.

Besides, it’s quite likely that both Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have a lot more on their minds than Bogart these days. Since moving to the Los Angeles area, insiders have claimed that Meghan is desperate to find work.

That’s because neither Meghan nor Harry have brought in a dime of their own income since stepping down as senior members of the British Royal family. While there have been a few reports about Meghan taking meetings with Hollywood executives to feel out whether a return to acting might be feasible … Harry has stuck close to home and hasn’t attempted to even make it possible for him to work in America.

With finances an issue and their future uncertain, many believe the question of Meghan’s “heartbreak” over Bogart just might not be that important for them … or for anyone else.
