Meghan Markle Calls Queen Elizabeth ‘Welcoming’
A new video has gone viral for supposedly revealing Meghan Markle telling a fib. And it concerns Queen Elizabeth’s feelings about the Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan has claimed that when she tied the knot with Prince Harry, Queen Elizabeth behaved in a “warm and welcoming” way, according to MSN.
The viral video stems from the Duchess of Sussex’s interview with Oprah Winfrey. And it takes place a year after Meghan and Harry exited their roles in the royal family. In general, the Duchess and Duke of Sussex complained about how the royal family treated them.
But Meghan claimed that Queen Elizabeth behaved in a kind way. And the Duchess of Sussex said, “She gave me beautiful pearl earrings and a matching necklace. And we were in the car going between engagements.”
But then Markle recalled how Queen Elizabeth owned “a blanket that sits across her knees for warmth. And it was chilly, and she was like, ‘Meghan, come on’ and put it over my knees as well. Just moments of … and it made me think of my grandmother, where she’s always been warm and inviting and … and really welcoming.”
Meghan Markle Lied About Queen Elizabeth?
However, the viral video from that interview has made some think that Meghan lied about Queen Elizabeth. Because in her interview with Oprah, the Duchess of Sussex claimed that Queen Elizabeth shared her blanket with Meghan.
And the caption for the clip says, “When Meghan lied on Oprah … Some recollections may vary.” The actual footage shows Queen Elizabeth putting the blanket over her own legs. And viewers think that a small piece of the blanket might have touched Meghan by accident rather than the Queen deliberately sharing the blanket.
But some thought that Meghan did get to use part of the blanket. And one viewer claimed, “You can see she puts it on her legs. It’s not a lie.” But others disagreed. For instance, one argued, “I don’t see the blanket on [Meghan’s] knees.”
And others thought that Queen Elizabeth seemed to completely ignore Meghan. For example, one viewer wrote, “Another lie. The queen put her blanket on herself and looked out the window to begin waving to her royal subjects … ignoring Markle.” And another scoffed, “Suggesting the queen served her by putting the blanket on her lap and that she was equally sharing the queen’s blanket.” One critic wrote off the Duchess of Sussex’s claims, noting, “Doubt it. That happened only in [her] mind.”

I think the Queen was very nice and warm to Megan until her true colors came out and she realized she was a demon. I believe the royal family may miss Harry some but would prefer never to see me-again ever. I also believe in karma. It’s just a matter of time.
I Think the Queen was trying to be nice to Meghan when she first met her, but the queen is no fool. I think Carrie should go back home and leave her. She only used him to get where she’s at now and as a babysitter,
I think Her Majesty had a huge heart but I can’t remotely imagine her offering to share a blanket with Meghan…as usual, Meghan creates her own little narrative/fantasies…I’m an American and embarrassed Harry chose her as she is a poor representative of those of us who respect the monarchy

Megain lied to Oprah? What a shock! She & ‘arry lied throughout that whole interview. He lied by omission by not saying why his dad cut him off financially, they both lied about someone making a comment about the color of Archie’s skin, she lied about getting married 3 days before the wedding by the Archbishop, she lied about Kate making her cry not the other way around, practically every word that came out of their mouths was a lie. They’ve continued to lie, whine & play the victim. That’s why they’re so far down in the popularity ratings. That’s karma for ya! And they’re finally getting theirs!!
I have to agree with you all. Harry is a woose. He can’t stand up to her. He is not what I call a man…Megan has 2 faces. You don’t know which side of her face is telling the Truth on anything. I use to like Harry but what he did and is doing to his family is hateful. You Don’t turn on your family and trash them. If you don’t want anything to do with them and you have no love for them, you just leave and don’t have anything to do with them. You Don’t trash family .. when she walks, he won’t have anyone, not even his kids. Harry is a FOOL.
I agree with all of the above, except for one thing. Markle has more than 2 faces, she’s more like “Sybil”,didn’t she have 16. That’s Markle, and you never know which one it’s going to be. She’s told so many lies, she can’t keep things straight. She’s going to have to start writing things down so when she says something she can look at her notes. She’s never going to be a Diana or Kate,so she might as well get over herself,IDIOT.
Meghan lives in a make believe troubled world She definitely lies and almost all the time. It is very sad that she cannot be trusted in almost everything around her I feel really bad for the kids as they are the ones who suffer the most Harry is a grown up and he picked her Did he ever think his life would be this way? I personally think EVERYTHING out of Megan’s mouth is only in her head. She’s a narcissist & everything is “her version” of what happened. She exaggerates or out&out lies what an incident actually is that happens .
She lied about the pearl necklace as well. The Queen has given all her daughter/daughter in laws granddaughters & granddaughter in laws Pearl earrings with a Diamond in each. She however doesn’t give them necklaces unless your blood relatives. Also size did matter the bigger your earrings the respect and affection the Queen had for you.
