Meghan Markle Mocked For Her Global Aspirations

It looks like she really wants to take over the world, with one flavor of strawberry jam at a time. This really shouldn’t surprise anyone but Meghan Markle is once again being mocked for trying to take her lifestyle brand global.

Because she’s a royal, some critics believe that she should have just stuck to keeping her brand small in Britain the same way King Charles has done with his own line, but it seems like the Duchess of Sussex has much bigger aspirations. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Royal biographer Angela Levin, who has pretty much made it her career to slam both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on a daily basis, told GB News in an interview that Meghan isn’t doing herself any favors by promoting her brand to just a limited number of influencers that she probably hand picked herself.

She also criticized Meghan for the high price of her products, including $30 for a jar of strawberry jam.

She put it this way, “I just think it’s a ridiculous idea. And I think it’s very silly to come up with one thing. You don’t know what the next thing is, but she is trying to go globally.

That word globally is absolutely Meghan’s favorite word, because Britain was too small for her. She always wanted to be global, so if she can sell things globally, she will be thrilled to bits.“

Levin continued, “It’s not a wonderful thing that somebody is going to make and you’re going to keep forever. Are we meant to keep the empty jar, or are we meant to keep the jam, because it’s so special at $30 a jar. It’s ridiculous. I didn’t believe it. Is this a time when you’re going to even get raspberries and strawberries?”

So far Meghan Markle herself has not commented on any of the criticism she’s received, although at this point it’s doubtful that she will. And it’s also doubtful that she will ever send Angela a case of her strawberry jam, either.
