Meghan Markle Skipped Bestfriend Priyanka Chopra’s Wedding Over Royal Duties

When Meghan Markle married Prince Harry on May 19, her good friend Priyanka Chopra made sure to fly all the way to England to be on her special day. Sadly, the newly minted Duchess of Sussex couldn’t return the same favor to her friend.
Last weekend, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had a two-day wedding celebration in India where the actress hails from. While Priyanka was not marrying into royalty, her wedding certainly rivaled that of Meghan’s. It began with traditional Indian parties leading up to a Western-style ceremony on Dec. 1, officiated by Nick’s father. Priyanka wore an intricate custom Ralph Lauren gown with an astonishing 75-foot train. The next day, the couple held a Hindu ceremony. Both affairs were truly elaborate, fit for an Indian princess.
Sadly, Priyanka’s princess friend Meghan was noticeably missing on both ceremonies. The Duchess of Sussex, who is currently pregnant with her first child, also skipped Priyanka and Nick’s reception in Delhi on Tuesday, Dec. 4. Instead, she was spotted in London that evening while attending a concert with Prince Harry.
According to the Daily Express, the concert was an important event for Prince Harry. It was in honor of Henry van Straubenzee, the prince’s childhood friend who died at the age of 18. Meghan was photographed clinging on to her husband, her baby bump visible under her dark blue coat.
While Kensington Palace did not comment on why the Duchess missed her friend’s big day, a source revealed to Harper’s Bazaar that both Harry and Meghan were invited to all the celebrations in India. However, the royal couple reportedly declined to travel to India due to Meghan’s pregnancy.
Meghan and Priyanka met in 2016 at a Hollywood event. The two actresses maintained their friendship as their careers soared. After attending Meghan’s royal wedding back in May, Priyanka wrote a touching tribute to her friend on Instagram. She called the new princess an “epitome of grace, love, and beauty.”
“Every once in a while there is a moment when time stands still. That happened today,” Priyanka wrote.

No I think that she is in the royal family for the prestige and name!! She left her family that raised her back here and never looked back!! She has a father and sister and brother that didn’t fit into her prestige she got marrying a prince. I think she is spoiled and I would like to hear what her American family has to say!! Harry might be prince but this is still America and we have a right to hear how uncredible Meghan is!! I believe she is a white racist and so is the British Monarchy. I think Princess Diana would not approve of Markle and that is why the Queen and the rest have allowed her to marry Prince. It slaps Diana in the face by allowing this woman into the monarchy!!

I believe Pregnant was too busy caring for her new Rescue Dog, the one who has yet to be named. She was photographed recently walking this new Dog around Frogmore.
She is such a great humaterian and advocate for animals and the unfortunate.

It may be a figure of speech, but Diana died over twenty years ago. And no, I was not under the impression that Diana had been resurrected.
I’m giving Migraine a pass on this. I know.. But that flight to India is long and expensive. Just off that horrid Australia Tour, I think she’d be better off staying home and cleaning out the condemned property over at Fogmore if she plans to move in by “Spring”.

No, I am not shocked. We don’t know how true “friends” her and Pryanka even are. Pryanka “copied” many of Meghan’s ideas, (the embroidery on the dress, a long veil) etc. maybe she was “scouting” for ideas when she came to Meghan and Prince Harry’s wedding.
Also, Meghan is pregnant, about 6 months along. Why would she want to travel thousands of miles to India???????????????????? She had to skip some of the tour in Australia and Tonga due to zika virus. I can’t say that I blame her one bit.
