Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Stops Rebekah Seduction – Nick Makes Deal AnywayRebekah (Jennifer Taylor) finds Nick (Joshua Morrow) to be very appealing on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), not worried, but spurned by Billy’s (Jason Thompson) misread of the situation, then arrives in time to prevent ‘Rick’ from potentially forming.

Y&R Spoilers – Nick Saves The Jabot Deal

Nick likely would have found some way to let Rebekah down without Phyllis needing to intervene at the Genoa City Athletic Club suite. But thankfully for the Jabotique deal and ‘Phick’ fans that doesn’t happen.

Young and the Restless Was Using Rebekah’s Attraction To Nick

Phyllis used Rebekah’s attraction to Nick. Jabot’s hope to seal a business deal with the presented social media influencer and her audience wasn’t quite sealed, even though Miss Barlow was impressed with Phyllis and Billy’s business pitch. Thus Nick’s unexpected arrival and cross into Rebekah’s line of sight eventually helped this delicate deal to cross the finish line.

Y&R masterfully teased the revival of ‘Philly’ along with the deepening potential of ‘Phick’ to actually fully reform with these scenes. Phyllis bouncing back to Billy so soon after they dissolved? Probably not.

Nick back with Phyllis is an unexpected development, even considering what initially took place at Summer’s (Hunter King) condo this summer? Surprisingly, this seems like more than a maybe answer. And, the lead-in to this recoupling also feels different than past chapters this romantic duo has written.

Whether Taylor, who memorably portrayed Chelsea on ‘Two And A Half Men’ during that nighttime sitcom’s Charlie Sheen era, becomes a regular on this iconic daytime soap is yet to be seen. But she’s a solid actor who possesses the proverbial ‘it’ factor. So, hopefully, Rebekah sticks around or at least is a recurring character.

As far as Nick goes, he handled his assigned task marvelously without being distracted from an eye-popping scenario that nearly went too far. Phyllis saved Nick from further time in a very awkward situation and did so in a playful manner which offered the audience a few laughs. Daytime has often been about more than serious drama and this mini-story again proved that.
