Meghan Markle definitely knows when to call in the paparazzi and what to do to get media headlines and pics.
Because just as news broke about how King Charles had snubbed Meghan and Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex stepped out with a friend for a shopping expedition.
And of course that resulted in multiple spotlight-stealing articles, complete with pics of Meghan beaming like the Cheshire Cat.
But the Duchess of Sussex didn’t stop there. She also found a way to swap any disappointment on losing out on a royal Christmas with plans to spend the holidays with Hollywood stars. However, she clashed with Prince Harry, as revealed below.
Meghan Markle Shops With Friend, Poses For Pics
Paparazzi love Meghan Markle. Because this Duchess definitely knows how to turn on the charm when she wants to grab headlines.
And soon after news broke about King Charles snubbing her for his 75th birthday celebration, Meghan headed out with a friend for a shopping spree, reported the Post.
Paparazzi captured the Duchess of Sussex and her friend Kelly McKee Zajfen giggling and smiling over lunch and their shopping expedition a few days prior to King Charles’ 75th birthday.
And Meghan, 42, went for a casual look in a black top, rolled-up sleeves, belted gray pants and flat shoes. She wore movie star style sunglasses, completing her look with a ponytail.
Photos included Markle and Zajfen enjoying lunch at Pane E Vino Trattoria in Santa Barbara, California. And the two also headed to a high-end boutique, women’s clothing store Wendy Foster.
Meghan finished up her day in the mansion she shares with Prince Harry and their two children Prince Archie, 4, and Princess Lilibet, 2. They bought the 18,000-square-foot nine-bedroom,16-bathroom modern house for $14.65 million.
Meghan Markle Wants To Spend Christmas With Celebs
The Duchess of Sussex feels humiliated that the royal family didn’t invite her to their Christmas festivities this year. However, she feels she can compensate for her disappointment by enjoying the holidays with Hollywood’s A-list celebrities.
And insiders said via the International News that Meghan feels “desperate” to polish her reputation.
As a result, the Duchess of Sussex may choose to spend Christmas with whatever celebs invite her. For instance, David Foster and his wife Katherine McPhee reportedly invited Meghan and Harry to spend the holidays with them.
However, Prince Harry’s closest friend could persuade him to spend Christmas with that family. “Harry has been invited along with Meghan and their children, Archie and Lilibet, to join Charlie van Straubenzee’s family during the festive season,” revealed an insider.
“They have homes in London and Lincolnshire. Charlie is Harry’s best friend and also Archie’s godfather and the pair have recently grown closer again following a distant few years when Harry first moved over to America.”
And that means Meghan and Harry could clash. “The Sussexes have received a number of invites from their friends in the US for the holidays. It’s not like they don’t have anywhere to go,” noted the source. “There are also other options on the table but there seems to be a stalemate over where they should go,” the source added.

This is a hate Meghan story. She has the right to do as she wishes without it being against the royals. Leave this poor woman alone. If I were her I would not want to visit the UK again.
Harry should take HIS children to the UK and leave little Megan home alone.
I agree. Just because she doesn’t want to go to the UK, doesn’t mean Harry shouldn’t go. Harry, grow a pair and pack your bags! And if you want to take your kids, by all means do so. She didn’t clone them.

Markle isn’t upset about Christmas with the royals. There isn’t any way in hell she wants to go to England. She never wanted to stay there after marrying Harry. She got her title and notoriety and ran back to America, like she planned from the start. She doesn’t want Harry to go and be with his family because they may all make amends and she doesn’t want that. She is a selfish narcissist. She ruined two families., hers and Harry’s. Everything is about her and the hell with everyone else. Harry should take the kids and go to his friend and leave Markle home with her friends
