There are new reports that suggest the Duchess of Sussex is looking to write her own children’s book. And the timing couldn’t be any better as both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just welcomed their first child in the world, Archie Harrison, back in May. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Fox News, the Duchess of Sussex is eager to start work on a new children’s book. A royal insider even said that Meghan is looking forward to working on this new project because it will be the first time as a published author. It’s something that she is very excited about.

While she doesn’t have a topic just yet, it’s been reported that the Duchess of Sussex is working on possible options. But because she loves animals so much and of course her dogs, there’s speculation that she might be working on a book or even on a series that focuses on the furry four-legged pets.

The source revealed, “The plans are in the very early stages and won’t be formally announced for some time. But she’s very excited about the possibility and is passionate about the idea of a work of fiction for children. She loves animals and her rescue dogs so it’s very likely they will be incorporated into the story. Any book will absolutely not be some sort of tell-all about her life in the royal family.”

With that said, it’s also been noted that a lot of celebrities love writing children’s books as they have become a hit in recent years. Seeing how Meghan Markle has managed to stay in the headlines for the last year now, there’s a strong possibility that her book is going to be a massive hit.
