Meghan Markle has been a household name for so many years, yet we are only hearing about this now? There are new reports that say the Duchess of Sussex apparently told a British reality television star to “f*** off” right before she began her relationship with Prince Harry.

She says that Meghan even ghosted her the moment the news broke about her romance with the royal. Here’s what you need to know.

British reality television star Millie Mackintosh, who starred in the hit series Made in Chelsea, says that she met Meghan way before the world even knew who she was.

The two became fast friends when they met at an opening of a hotel in Istanbul. Millie even said that they “got on like a house on fire.” She even offered Meghan all of her contacts back in London.

However, Millie says that the moment Meghan began dating Harry, that all changed. Once the world began learning about Prince Harry’s new American girlfriend, Meghan didn’t want anything to do with the British reality star.

While speaking to the Mumlemmas podcast, Millie recalled, “I messaged her and said, ‘Hey I hope you’re OK, thinking of you,’ and she just sent me this really abrupt message, that was really unlike any of our communications before. It wasn’t like I’d messaged her asking if it was true – that was none of my business, I didn’t care – I was just like, ‘are you ok?’ What I read from that message was that she maybe needed a bit of space, she needed to cool off, she was angry, she was maybe under a lot of pressure.”

Did Meghan Really Break Off Her Friendship With Millie?

She then added, “I didn’t message her again, but I did expect that we would stay in touch. I thought she’d message back and say, ‘Look, sorry everything is a bit stressful right now.’ She cut me dead. I never heard from her again. I felt like she’d basically told me to f*** off in that message. So I did. And we haven’t spoken since.”

Millie said that the last time she saw Meghan was back in September 2016, and right before the news broke of her romance with Harry. They had a fun afternoon at the Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire where they had margaritas by the pool.

So far Meghan herself has not made any comments about the matter.
