Meghan Markle Wanted To Outrun The Royal Family But Met With Failure

Meghan Markle Wanted To Outrun The Royal Family But Met With FailureMeghan Markle had once said during her early days with the Royal Family that it is her desire to hit the ground running.

In her Oprah Winfrey sit-down, she revealed that she didn’t receive any formal training on how to become a successful member of the Royal Family.

However, insiders are revealing that instructions were always there. It was Meghan’s decision to speed through everything because she believed she had a lot of great ideas.

To be a tad salty, her great ideas are honestly still backfiring even now that she’s in California and the Royal Family life is well behind her.

Meghan Markle Was So Confident She Hijacked Royal Meetings

Joining the ranks of the Royal Family is obviously not going to be like a walk in the park, despite whatever fancy dreams we have of princesses and polished tiaras.

It usually comes with intensive training on how to act and behave during any of the high profile outings you may engage in at any one time.

Meghan, perhaps due to her years in the showbiz, thought she was better equipped to jump into the role and immediately take off. Insiders speaking to Tom Quinn in his new book revealed how she – the then-newly minted Duchess – would take over meetings despite her lack of experience.

One said: “It was extraordinary because she was so confident that you could see she wanted to run the meeting rather than learn about the Royal Family through the meeting. She was a great believer in grabbing the bull by the horns – except the Royal Family is not really a bull.”

Another opined: “Meghan thought she knew better than an institution that has been in business for 1,000 years and more.”

Prince Harry Didn’t Respect the Hierarchy of the Monarchy

This is not the first time it’s been suggested that Meghan had tended to display a high level of confidence in her new role, instead of calming down and learning on the job.

In her 2022 book The Palace Papers, Tina Brown, who was an acquaintance of the late Princess Diana, suggested that Meghan Markle didn’t thrive in her royal role as a result of the preconceived notions Harry had fed her.

Brown wrote, “Harry, who had always chafed at the hierarchy himself, was the last person to want to tell her to slow down. They were both now drunk on a shared fantasy of being instruments of global transformation who, once married, would operate in the celebrity stratosphere once inhabited by Princess Diana.”
