There’s a new report that says Meghan Markle wore a whopping $150,000 worth of jewelry that was once owned by Princess Diana during her hike the day after King Charles’ coronation. While there aren’t many people out there who would wear so much jewelry during a hike with friends, let’s just say that the Duchess of Sussex isn’t like many other people out there, too.

Reports say that during her hike, she wore Princess Diana’s coveted Cartier watch and a ring that King Charles once gave to Diana, among other things. And The Mirror says that all the jewelry she had on was worth an estimated $150,000. It’s a good thing she didn’t lose anything.

Now, why Meghan decided to show off all that jewelry during that time, no one really knows. Of course, many royal fans sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “It’s stupid to wear such expensive jewelry on a hike through the woods where it could get lost! Done just for publicity which she arranged to accompany her!” along with, “Who the hell wears that much jewelry on a HIKE! Only someone who had called the paps, to stage the whole thing without an intention of breaking a sweat. Diana would have seen her coming a mile off.”

Another fan wrote, “She came across as ridiculously pretentious. Why would she wear $100,000+ worth of jewelry on a hike? Because she knows the paparazzi will be there to take pics of her. Clearly she called the evil paps, again.”

And then there was this comment, too: “Well she has no brains. And that wasn’t a hike. It was a paparazzi moment with her supposed friends cuz no mention of her in Coronation news. She is such a horrible example for women.”
