Royal Family News: Prince William And Kate Middleton Pressured To ‘Fix’ The Firm

It’s not like they are the ones responsible for breaking it, but it looks like they’ve been given the task to fit it. There’s a new report that suggests Prince William and Kate Middleton are being pressured to “fix” The Firm.

This, despite the fact that it was Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who made so many waves by leaving it and all of the dirty laundry they’ve also left out to dry, too. Here’s what you need to know.

It seems like the Prince and Princess of Wales have been given a major PR task that they might or might not be able to take on themselves. But seeing how there are very few senior members of the royal family left, royal expert Gordon Rayner believes that the future of the monarchy is in William and Kate’s hands, for better or for worse.

In a new column for The Telegraph, Rayner put it this way, “The Waleses can feel rightly pleased with their thoroughly modern approach to appealing to the masses, but there could yet be tension between them and the King over some of the more traditional ways of representing the royal family.”

To complicate matters though, it seems like William and Kate feel as though they are at a crossroads between their royal obligations and their personal life.

That’s because they don’t want to spend too much time away from their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Royal Family News: What’s Next For William and Kate?

Rayner further explained, “Nor are they willing to commit at this stage to doing the same number of foreign tours that the King has been used to carrying out. One royal source said there was no ‘tick box’ method of determining overseas visits and that the couple will not necessarily follow the ‘template’ set down by the King but are ‘very keen to do things their own way.’”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter. Watch this space.
