Meghan Markle Would Want People To Do This Simple Thing For Her

We’re living in the post baby mama twerking video era, and Meghan Markle still hasn’t lost hope that one day the truth will come to light and vindicate her.

In a recent chat with fellow podcaster Emma Grede, who is also the CEO of fashion brand Good American and a founding partner of Kim Kardashian’s Skims line, Meghan expressed her desire for the truth.

Meghan Markle Believes Lies Told About Her Won’t Last Forever

Since joining the Royal Family, Meghan Markle has been wrestling with multiple media sources telling things not quite like they are.

For example, the Kate Middleton crying story that was misrepresented to the world, which she later personally debunked during her Oprah sit-down.

But perhaps she’s not only referring to media sources when she expressed her interest that the truth will come to light, but maybe hoping that one day “recollections may vary” will no longer be one of those things haunting her public image.

If Meghan Markle could rewrite her narrative from the scratch, she would “ask people to tell the truth.”

When Grede asked her how she feels about people “lying about [her] all the time,” the Duchess revealed that she copes by remembering a wise quote pal Serena Williams once shared with her.

“My dear friend Serena, she told me years ago: ‘A lie can’t live forever,’” Meghan said, laughed and added pointedly: “Eight years is a long time, but not forever.”

“Eight years” would go as far back as when Meghan met and started dating Britain’s Prince Harry. However, there’s not much she would change from that journey, since, instead of letting the noise of the outside world define her and become a source of constant worry, she has chosen the path of self-discipline. These days, she unwinds by spending time with her children and going on “date nights” with Harry.

This is coming after the internet lost its collective mind over a clip of Meghan Markle dancing moments just before labor in 2021. The video raised a lot of eyebrows, prompting respected figures like Megyn Kelly to join in questioning whether she was ever pregnant.

Mere days after Meghan shared the video, news surfaced that several members of the Sussexes’ team have been let go, in a move that further drew criticism and ridicule.
