Meghan Markle’s Father Thomas Goes On TV, Has She Even Seen Him After His Stroke?

British royal family news shows that Meghan Markle’s father has broken cover for the first time since he suffered a stroke three months ago. The retiree, who lives in Mexico, gave an exclusive “interview” to GB News this evening. For his part Markle wrote his thoughts down on a white board and then showed it to the camera, as the stroke which he incurred in May has affected his ability to speak.

Dan Wooton’s interview saw him speak to Markle’s son, Thomas Markle Jr, who shared details about his father’s condition.

In the video Markle, Sr. is seen as he sits at a table with a view of the ocean. He holds a whiteboard which he shows to the camera. The board reads: “Hi Dan, Thank you and the British people for the best wishes and good will.”

Markle is a retired, Emmy winning, Hollywood lighting director. He suffered a stroke at his home in Mexico on May 23 and spent five days in an American hospital recovering. According to the Daily Mail, the elder Markle, “fell over while shopping and had to be helped to his feet just days before he was hospitalised. After being discharged, he said: ‘I feel hugely grateful and know how lucky I am to be alive.”

He added at the time, “I want to thank everyone, especially the wonderful doctors and nurses who saved my life. They are angels. I have been deeply moved by loving messages I’ve received from all over the world. People have been so kind. I can’t speak right now, but I am working hard and will thank people properly when I can.”

Before the stroke it was reported that Markle was planning to fly to the UK for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in early June. Needless to say his medical emergency left him unable to travel, an eerie reminder of the way he was forced to cancel his 2018 trip to the UK for Meghan’s wedding.

Royal Family News – Thomas Markle Had To Cancel The UK Twice

The stroke Markle suffered, “was caused by a blood clot on the right side,” of his brain. “He was rushed to a hospital near his home in Rosarito, Mexico, before being transferred by ambulance to the US border where an ambulance was waiting to ferry him to a hospital in San Diego, California.”

Meghan has been roasted for not visiting her dad after his brush with death. Instead, that same week she flew on a private jet to take photos at a makeshift memorial to slaughtered students in Uvalde, Texas. Because twisted priorities.
