Kim Kardashian Cozies Up To Meghan Markle’s Mom

A charity gala this month attracted a flock of celebrities. But when it comes to gatherings that no one predicted, reality TV stars Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner chatted with Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland.

And the trio posed together for photos at This Is About Humanity’s fifth annual soirée, noted Page Six.

However, the Duchess of Sussex and her husband, Prince Harry, opted out of the event. But Ragland, 66, stunned in her floral flock. And Jenner, 67, chose a summery theme in her all-white ensemble and Chanel purse.

However, Kardashian, 42, looked almost unrecognizable as she flaunted her new hairstyle of bangs and a ponytail.

Kim showed off her famous curves in a tight black dress. And she accented her waistline with a leather corset. Gold jewelry completed her look.

And she joined Doria in mingling with other celebrities, including Eva Longoria, Jordana Brewster, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez.

Kim Kardashian Could Face Fashion Feud

The reality TV stars and Meghan’s mom helped to publicize the organization This Is About Humanity. The group seeks to help separated and reunified families at the United States border.

And it offers services such as legal aid and mental health resources.

But while Kim enjoyed herself at the gala, she reportedly faces a challenge in her family. And insiders shared that both Kim and her sister Khloe Kardashian will soon compete against their sister Kylie Jenner.

Kylie plans to unveil her new “quiet lux” fashion brand, sparking rumors of a family fashion feud. 

The founder of Kylie Cosmetics has signed a contract with Jens and Emma Grede. This duo received credit as the power behind Khloe’s Good American denim range and Kim’s brand SKIMS.

But an insider shared that Kim, Khloe, and Kylie “each have their own vision.”

Meghan Markle Won’t Compete With Kardashians

And the source insisted that rather than compete, “they inspire and whip each other up. They’re all so different and independent,” added the insider. “But they give each other a ton of advice.”

Kylie won’t lack for funding for her new brand after selling just over half of her Kylie Cosmetics to Coty for $600 million in 2019. And Kim sold a smaller portion of her beauty firm SKKN.

However, Kardashian reportedly has begun discussing the possibility of buying it back. 

Meanwhile, Meghan doesn’t plan to compete with any Kardashians or Jenners when it comes to business. Instead, Markle has begun meeting with some “big-name directors and producers,” according to an insider. “While she’d love to land a new TV part, Meghan really wants to sink her teeth into a dramatic film role,” added the source. “She thinks an Oscar would be in her future.”
