As a matter of fact, the Los Angeles-based social worker and yoga instructor was spotted giving out blankets to victims who have been displaced due to the recent wave of fires in Southern California. Local reporters say that a series of photographs have been published of Doria carrying heavy duty blankets and passing them out to those in need. As many fans already know, Doria has been a lifelong Los Angeles resident and it’s without a doubt that she has seen her fair share of fires in the past.

As a social worker, Doria has often given back to her community and has also raised her daughter to know the importance of giving back to her community. That’s why Meghan Markle invested a lot of her time into her charity work while she was still living in Hollywood as a television actress.

These days, Meghan and her husband Prince Harry are making public appearances at charities and initiatives all across Britain. Back in 2016, Meghan opened up about her mother and the kind of influence she had on her while growing up in her now defunct blog, The Tig.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Royal News: Thanksgiving In Los Angeles

“Both my parents came from little, so they made a choice to give a lot,” she wrote, “buying turkeys for homeless shelters at Thanksgiving, delivering meals to patients in hospice care, donating any spare change in their pocket to those asking for it, and performing quiet acts of grace—be it a hug, a smile, or a pat on the back to show ones in need that they would be alright.”

Further reports also indicate that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be traveling to Los Angeles for Thanksgiving and for the Christmas holiday next month, too.
