Jack’s choice to tap Lauren is wise, as she has significant experience in the business world. Kyle has talent and bravado. But as his experience with Billy demonstrated, even in a limited sample size, there are obstacles to be overcome in the big leagues.

Y&R Spoilers – New Dynamic Fuels Modern Jabot

Jack’s decision not to return to the top spot at Jabot was somewhat surprising. However, viewers likely anticipated that choice as his personal awareness journey has been unfolding for months.

Beyond Kyle, Summer Newman (Hunter King) has a prominent role with the company. Her efforts have been consistent, meaning that she’s proved her worth and appears capable of fueling company growth indefinitely.

However, Theo’s addition is the clear wild card. He and Kyle had a rocky personal history before they realized cousin status. Now, there’s the infatuation Theo has with Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) that must be dealt with.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Kola Friction Isn’t Imagined

Theo has been off-course for many years, as he’s admitted to Lola on occasion. His lack of family advisers has surely played into the many amoral actions he’s taken.

Kyle knows Theo’s pattern of trouble and was thrilled to learn that aunt Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) offered Johnson’s character a position with My Beauty in Paris, France. But Jack’s counteroffer changed that trajectory, keeping Theo in Kyle’s face.

Y&R has nicely written Kyle, Lola, Theo, and Summer into a four-sided plot, where they will likely square off, or splinter into different pairings as fall ends and winter arrives in Genoa City, Wisconsin.
