British royal family news reveals that Meghan Markle is back with a new podcast partner but has yet to actually do a podcast.
Much the same as her last rodeo with Spotify who eventually dropped her and called her a grifter. This month it was announced that Meghan’s Archetypes show signed with Lemonada Media.
Royal Family News – Meghan’s New World Beater
Meghan said this on her website about Lemonada: “Being able to support a female-founded company with a roster of thought-provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to kick off 2024.”
She gave no details about her podcast nor any airtimes, info that would have been helpful.
This is why critics see her “dynamic” podcast as weak. On Lemonada’s Instagram post about the Meghan posters were suspicious about the partnership with one saying that Archetypes was meh: “She is the worst podcaster ever. Snore!”
She also has competition. Queen Camilla has her own podcast, “The Queen’s Reading Room Podcast.” Unlike Meghan’s ghost venture we actually know what Camilla’s project entails: “Our brand new podcast is a place for book lovers — and those who wish they loved literature a little more — to be inspired by the bookish confessions of global literary heroes. This brand new series delves into the homes and hearts of the authors that we love the most.”
Royal Family News – Archetypes’ Blew Up On Spotify
As The List reports, “Despite her best intentions, Meghan Markle doesn’t have a great track record with podcast projects … she split from Spotify after just one season.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, a statement from both parties said they had ‘mutually agreed to part ways.’ However, a source told the outlet that Archewell wasn’t creating enough content for Spotify.”
Royal Family News – Spotify Dropped Meghan
Things got ugly at the end when Spotify’s Bill Simmons described Harry and Meghan as “f***ing grifters.” Adding insult to injury, the couple failed to register the trademark for “Archetypes.”
Let’s face it, you’ve never heard of Lemonada Media, this little company is getting Spotify’s sloppy seconds.
Casting further doubt on unemployed Meghan’s abilities, Jeremy Zimmer of the United Talent Agency delivered this assessment about her: “Turns out Meghan Markle was not a great audio talent, or necessarily any kind of talent. And, you know, just because you’re famous doesn’t make you great at something.”
Meghan, if you’re reading this, the good news is that the bar is not set high. There are no expectations for you. You have nowhere to go but up, show them how it’s done Megs, silence the haters with your awesomeness.
