On Saturday this weekend, Neil Sean took to his Daily News Headlines vlog on YouTube and titled his monologue as “Why Did King Charles Make Melania Cry[?]” Overall, it sounded all very sweet and emotional.
However, the tears he talked about were only mentioned at the very beginning of his vlog. Sean asked, “What did bring the first lady Melania Trump to tears from his majesty the King, Charles?”
Probably, you already read stories online about how Camilla was actually near King Charles when he made a speech. She didn’t stay there though, and Sean related how she sat down afterwards. Apparently, she felt that her husband needed some support.

According to the royal expert, Camilla told Melania Trump about it afterwards. Allegedly, she said, “Well, you know, he asked me if I would sit with him and of course I just wanted to support him. This is a wonderful historical event. We wanted to get it right for you.”
Emotional Moments
Perhaps Camilla gave that support because King Charles has been unwell and the media reported that he looked pale. In a previous commentary, Neil Sean claimed that he simply came off his medication treatment briefly and there’s nothing to worry about.
Anyway, in the new vlog, he talked about how Melania Trump seemed very moved because of that support. In fact, he described her as a “softy” underneath her public image. But did she actually cry about the moving detail?
The Title Promised Tears

The title promised tears, but how odd that the words never appeared in the video transcript after the first sentence. Not when listening, and not when reading it. While Sean’s content delivered a touching story about emotional warmth and appreciation, the difference between that and actually crying a river seems very far apart.
As the royal expert wasn’t stateside, he mentioned a source who related the story to him. Unnamed, he did mention that the person works with “Fox News.” Well, so far, we couldn’t find any Fox article that mentioned Melania Trump crying.
He said, in part, that Melania “told my source that that it… ‘was so moving.'” Additionally, Melania also told the source, “what you’re seeing there is somebody just very quietly supporting without fanfare the person that they really do want to do well.” Allegedly, she also said “It really caught me emotionally.”
Exaggeration Or Entertainment?
Sean criticized the media in the past about sensationalism. But did his headline do exactly what he slams other outlets for? Even if there was a report by Fox about Melania saying something about being emotionally caught in the moment, the content didn’t mention crying in the quotes. So, why was it screamed out in ALL CAPS?
Unfortunately, it seems that the story rides on a rather dramatic headline. After all, there’s a world of difference between the words being “moved” and “cried.”
