President Joe Biden’s Sister Says Democrats Need More Women Like Meghan Markle

Joe Biden’s sister is willing and ready to support females joining the democratic party, including the Duchess of Sussex, who, according to rumors, is interested in running for office.
While there’s been no serious hint from the former actress, the speculations started when she waded into American politics shortly after her departure from the royal family, even cold-calling politicians to lobby for a paid leave for all bill.
Valerie Biden Owens Says She’d Support Meghan Markle Running For Office
Meghan Markle has got one vote down if she ever decides to run for office, and it’s from a prominent democrat.
President Joe Biden’s sister, Valerie Biden Owens, revealed that the Duchess, 42, will find her a keen supporter if she decides to run for office in the US.
Owens told reporters that Meghan will “make a good presidential candidate one day,” if she ever decides to go for it.
Meghan is yet to comment on this report, or on any other report suggesting she harbors a political interest.
In a prior interview on Good Morning Britain, Owens repeated the same sentiments: “The more women we have, the better our democratic system will work, with a better point of view, a different point of view and we embrace all women.
We welcome [Markle] to come in and join the Democratic Party.”
For years, Owens has been a long-time political activist and has worked in some high-level unelected positions behind the scenes: one of them saw her act as a campaign manager for her brother.
President Obama also appointed her to be an alternate representative for the U.S. at the United Nations during his presidency, and she was one of the main players for much of President Biden’s 2020 campaign.
While Meghan Markle has been included in polls for top female democratic candidates, she is yet to formally show interest in running for office.
