British royal family news reveals the sad news that 41-year old Virginia Giuffre, who infamously accused and sued Prince Andrew for sexual assault, and was trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein, has died by suicide. According to the Daily Mail, she killed herself after posting a series of concerning Instagram posts.
Virginia Giuffre Kills Herself
Her family confirmed the news with this statement: “It is with utterly broken hearts that we announce that Virginia passed away last night at her farm in Western Australia. She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking.”
A Florida native, Giuffre made headlines after claiming to have been one of dead, convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking victims. Later she accused Prince Andrew of sexual assault on at least three occasions, when she was still a teenager.
The family’s statement continued: “’Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was the light that lifted so many survivors. Despite all the adversity she faced in her life, she shone so bright. She will be missed beyond measure.”
Prince Andrew’s Sex Assault Accuser Virginia Giuffre Dies
Giuffre was the mother of three children–Christian, Noah, and Emily. Her family claim that “when she held her newborn daughter in her arms … Virginia realized she had to fight back against those who had abused her and so many others.”
“In the end, the toll of abuse is so heavy that it became unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight. We know that she is with the angels.”
Prince Andrew Settled Out of Court With Virginia Giuffre
Giuffre accused Epstein’s “pimp” Ghislaine Maxwell of arranging for the Duke of York to have sex with an underage Guiffre. Maxwell is a convicted sex offender still in prison, while Epstein died of reported suicide in a New York prison in 2019.
In 2021 Guiffre filed a federal lawsuit against Andrew which he vowed to fight after proclaiming his innocence. However, in 2022 Andrew agreed to settle out of court, and allegedly paid Guiffre millions to avoid having to testify. He denied having sex with her.
Guiffre told a different story. She alleged that Prince Andrew has sexual relations with her three times: “in London during a 2001 trip, at Epstein’s New York mansion when she was 17 and in the Virgin Islands when she was 18.”
Virginia Guiffre Accused Prince Andrew Of Sexual Abuse
Giuffre had been living in Australia with her husband Robert and after her 2022 settlement with Andrew, she largely withdrew from public view until last month when she sensationally claimed that doctors told her she had just four days to live.
At that time she posted pictures of herself on Instagram, in a hospital bed after being in a car crash. She said that she was in a vehicle that collided with a school bus and was left bruised, battered, and suffering kidney failure.
Giuffre said “I’ve gone into kidney renal failure, they’ve given me four days to live, transferring me to a specialist hospital in urology. I’m ready to go, just not until I see my babies one last time. My heart is shattered and every day that passes my sadness only deepens.”
Three days after the graphic post, Giuffre’s spokesman said she had “made a mistake and had not intended to share the post publicly.” Afterward Guiffre posted a string of strange posts that added to the mystery.
Daily Mail Australia reported that witnesses said the collision was a “minor bump” and it was “revealed that Giuffre had been listed to face court ten days before the crash over the alleged breach of the family violence restraining order.”
Her father Sky Roberts said that Giuffre was going through a “messy” divorce with Robert and that two days before the crash, Guiffre posted that she was anguished at not being able to see her kids: “I miss them so very much. I have been through hell and back in my 41 years but this is incredibly hurting me worse than anything else.”
Her representative Dini von Mueffling stated that “Virginia was one of the most extraordinary human beings I have ever had the honor to know.”
