Prince Andrew’s Scandals Are Pushing Princess Beatrice And Fiancé To Ditch The UK For Italy?

Prince Andrew And BeatriceCould Princess Beatrice and her future husband Edo Mapelli Mozzi pull a Megxit of their own and abandon the UK for a more hospitable place, one where their royal status is not a sticking point?

Writer Phil Dampier told Australian site New Idea that the pair are, “considering a move to Italy,” because, “the furor over Prince Andrew’s scandal,” has left them yearning for a new life presumably away from the mess that he is embroiled in over improper payments to staff, an association with a dead pedophile and dereliction of debt that necessitated him being hauled into court.

Prince Andrew Has Made A Muck Up Of His Daughter’s Life?

According to Dampier, Bea and her fiancé are contemplating a move away from her home country. He said that he would not be surprised if the twosome is considering a moving abroad, perhaps to Europe.

Andrew withdrew from public royal duties in November following a train wreck BBC interview in which he sought to clear the air regarding his friendship with the late, convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

There are allegations that he had relationships with Virginia Giuffre when she was 17, after being trafficked by Epstein.

Are Bea And Her Fiancé Seeking To Flee England For Europe?

He explained that Bea has, “had to put up with a lot, having her wedding postponed, and also the furor over her father Prince Andrew and the Epstein scandal.”

If Princess Beatrice is motivated by, “a desire to get away from it all,” Italy would make a perfect landing spot as ‘Edo has ties there as a descendant of an Italian noble family.

Where Is Princess Bea Spending Lockdown?

Bea, the Queen’s granddaughter, is now in coronavirus pandemic isolation with Edo and his mother Nikki Shale at her £1.5 million country house near Chipping Norton.

As the granddaughter of a reigning monarch, Beatrice would likely have wed at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, in front of nearly 1,000 guests just as her sister Princess Eugenie did. Additionally, Eugenie was treated to a carriage ride through the town and her ceremony was televised.

But, perhaps owing to the ugly accusations buzzing around Andrew like a horde of destitute flies, the princess has considerably downscaled her lavish production. It is thought she will marry in the low-profile Chapel Royal and invite less than 200 guests. Quite a comedown from Eugenie’s extravagant affair.

But COVID-19 may have also played a part in lessening Bea’s plans. In April, Boris Johnson put a ban on weddings and in May sources confirmed the wedding had been postponed.
