Prince Charles Thrilled To Hear Baby Archie Call Him ‘Pa’

Prince Harry turned 36-years old last week and at that time his son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor “delighted” his grandfather by calling him “pa” on a zoom call, according to reports. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were on a call with Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles to celebrate Harry’s birthday and 1-year old Archie joined in.

A source told The Sun that the call, “was very pleasant. Harry told the family how much he missed them. Meghan baked a cake and Harry blew out candles.”

Harry was said to have blown out candles on his cake and Archie helped which, “made them laugh when he also blew them out.”  The source added that Archie then called Charles “pa.”

According to US Weekly, Archie has been speaking for months and is able to say, Dada, Mama, book and dog.

The source went on to say that, “William sent his birthday best wishes. There was some excuse made about why he wasn’t there. It was a bit awkward that William and Kate weren’t there.”

No doubt William’s absence will serve as fuel for the rumor mill that the royals are still estranged.  But on Harry’s birthday both William and his wife Kate were conducting royal duties in London.

On that day the couple visited a London Jobcentre and bagel bakery where they rolled their sleeves up and got to making the delicious treats.

The rumored estrangement is reported to have occurred after Harry dropped his Megxit news earlier this year.
This gap was reported to have grown when Harry’s bio Finding Freedom dropped in August. The book is a salacious, accusation filled tome full of finger pointing and innuendo.

It accused William of being a snob for referring to Meghan as “this girl” and claimed other senior royals dubbed her “Harry’s showgirl.”

The sources said, “It’s unfortunate that William could not be on the call.”  But it has been reported that Kate and William wished Harry a happy birthday in a private chat and they did acknowledge him on social media.

The picture they posted raised eyebrows however. It shows the trio racing at London’s Olympic Park in 2017. Harry is out in front with William and Kate trying to catch up to him. The pic led some to speculate it was an inside joke about Harry running away from the family.
