Meghan And Harry Launched A Royal Salvo Then They Revealed Plans To Dump Their Senior Royal Roles

After Harry announced he would be divorcing himself from royal affairs, the queen was forced to call what’s been called the Sandringham Summit. There the aggrieved Harry and the royals met to discuss how to maneuver this extraordinarily awkward and mortifying situation dumped in the queen’s lap.

The summit was anything but cordial. According to Lacey, Meghan and Harry were, “like dealing with a hard-nosed Hollywood lawyer,” with the couple demanding, “guarantees on every single point as if it were a contractual negotiation.” So much for familial loyalty and faith.
