Prince Harry Prince Harry is about to learn the meaning of quid pro quo, stuck on the losing end of that proposition, as it’s been revealed that his brother Prince William will be asked to replace Harry as the head of the Royal Marines. Harry’s love of all things military is legendary but is stone-cold financial freedom worth more to him than the warm fuzzies that came with military life?

The news has been confirmed by senior Royal Navy sources so he’s about to find out. Harry was appointed Captain-General of the Marines in 2017 after his grandfather Prince Philip stepped down from the role.

Philip had held the prized position for nearly 70 years and it is a point of pride to hold this particular role. The loss will be all the more pained for Harry since he has gone on record as saying he cherished the time he spent in the military and it held a special place in his heart.

Adding insult to injury for Just Harry, the Marines reportedly feel that having William as a leader will boost both morale and recruitment. Ouch.

This decision could devastate the hot-headed prince who ditched his royal status for the sake of raking in millions and millions of dollars, something he could not do as a royal. It has been reported that Harry had hoped to retain this role even after he snubbed the monarchy by launching himself across the world with his wife Meghan.

That scurrilous move, known as Megxit, is detailed in the new bombshell book, Battle Of Brothers. The book examines the reported rift between Harry and the rest of his family, a rift that started long before Megxit apparently.

Still, Megxit was incendiary all on its own. According to the book’s author, Robert Lacey, Megxit drove an even deeper wedge between the princes, one that reportedly exists to this day.

For instance, on the day the family was set to iron out the details of just how Harry and Meghan would excise themselves from The Firm, William was so incensed with his brother’s mercenary behavior that he couldn’t bring himself to have lunch with him beforehand.

Harry reportedly told the Commandant General Royal Marines, Matthew Holmes, in March that he was “devastated” at having to step down, “but I had no choice.” That’s where you’re wrong, Harry. You had a choice; you just don’t want to be accountable for it.

      Harry has proven he is too immature and reckless to be taken seriously. Under the direction of his family and the status it afforded him his foolishness wasn't obvious now with the help of his wife he is fool for all the world to sadly see.

      I can see the excuses made for Harry because it's a different situation he grew up at the second son in this royalty he did well by his military men and his time that he served but she is the selfish one she is so rude and selfish that I cannot see that how he can not Spot It. And little are Archie's in the throw of things. She made a whole family said and she's ruined his life and yes he allowed it because he didn't know any better. He was more of a party person and she caught him right between the you know what.

      She is Wallace Simpson all over again, & has Harry by his danglers! And he allows it! Good news is that they’re simply not important. He’s not going to be King. But if he thinks they’ll make millions based on her acting skills, he’s in for a rude surprise! She’s absolutely worthless! Nobody knew her before he became her 3rd religion & 3rd husband… (1st was Catholic, she annulled that; 2nd was Jewish, she converted to that, but then divorced him; 3rd is Harry’s religion). They should not be be called Duke & Duchess or anything Royal. No work for the Firm, then no Titles! They’re self-importance is pathetic…

      He is an asshole look at those dead eyes he must follow the third rate actress and third rate is a push, markle the destroyer leads him by the balls and the nose he has no way out. He did so well in the military and was loved by his comrades he has deserted them all for money she wants more money he must comply. He and the wife no reframe that his mistress should be stripped of all charity patrons they are not worthy and they are not in the UK
