Meghan Markle And Prince HarryMeghan Markle and Prince Harry recently delighted their fans by unveiling their Christmas card. Inside Meghan Markle And Prince Harry’s Christmas Card

To understand why the Palace reportedly felt baffled by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’ Christmas card, let’s take a look inside. First, the photo itself features Meghan, Harry, Archie, and Lili at their home in Santa Barbara, California, per People. Second, the Duchess and Duke of Sussex wrote the card’s greeting to celebrate the highlights of 2021 and look forward to 2022.

“This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world. Archie made us a ‘Mama’ and a ‘Papa’, and Lili made us a family. As we look forward to 2022, we have made donations on your behalf to several organizations that honor and protect families – from those being relocated from Afghanistan, to American families in need of paid parental leave,” wrote Meghan and Harry in the card.

Seems like a very sweet, appropriate holiday card, right? Wrong, says royal expert Neil Sean per the Express.  Find out what Sean claims “confused” the senior royals below.

Royals ‘Confused’ By Meghan’s And Harry’s Christmas Card?!

Overall, Neil Sean revealed that the royal family felt “confused” by Meghan’s and Harry’s card for two key reasons. First, the wording on the card baffled the Duke’s older relatives. And second, Harry reportedly shocked senior royals with his choice of outfit.

In terms of wording, the royal family traditionally uses the phrase “Merry Christmas” on all its holiday greeting cards, pointed out Sean. As a result, Meghan’s and Harry’s choice of “Happy Holidays” baffled his relatives. “There’s nothing more sacred to our gracious Majesty the Queen than her Christian faith and this particular time of year, she holds it with great affection,” said Sean of the Palace’s disappointment. “In fact, it was one of the most favorite times of the year for Her Majesty and the late Duke of Edinburgh so you can imagine I’m suspecting her dismay at the Christmas greeting which was on the cards now.”

Analyzing the picture, the royal family expert also shared that the senior royals felt shocked by Harry’s outfit. His ripped jeans looked like a “rebel teenager” rather than a Duke, according to Sean. Who to blame for the “happy holidays” phrase and ripped jeans? He blamed “Californian slang” and vibes.
