Prince Harry And Meghan Criticized For Breaking Major Royal Agreement

It looks like the fallout continues. There’s a new report that suggests Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are being criticized for breaking a major royal agreement – the Sandringham Agreement.

As many royal fans can recall, Prince Harry told Oprah Winfrey in his seismic interview with her back in 2021 that he was cut off financially from the royal family. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

According to a new report, the palace had warned the Duke of Sussex that he broke the terms of the Sandringham agreement one too many times already.

That’s because the royals are not allowed to talk about anything connected to their funding, or at least in public.

During the Sandringham Summit, which took place back in January of 2020, Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Harry all outlined the rules that Harry was supposed to abide by as a non-working royal. The only person who was not in attendance during the summit was Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle.

However, during his interview with Oprah Winfrey, Prince Harry told the world that he was cut off both financially and emotionally from his father, who was then referred to as Prince Charles.

He was definitely none too pleased that his son had thrown the royal family under the bus in front of the entire world in the way that he did.

If that weren’t enough, both Harry and Meghan Markle also suggested that the royal family was racist, prompting Prince William to publicly deny those claims.

But that wasn’t the only low blow that Harry delivered to the royal family. His Netflix docuseries, Harry and Meghan, also detailed their massive feud with the royal family back in the UK. To add even more salt to the wound, the Duke of Sussex’s tell-all memoir, Spare, also put another bad light on the royal family.

At this point it’s safe to say that it might be a very long time before there’s another summit between Harry and the royals as it’s very unlikely that both King Charles and Prince William will ever want to be in the same room as him.
