Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are In Conflict Over This Archie Problem

When it comes to privacy and preserving a child’s digital integrity, you’d likely find Prince Harry – you know, the one who grew up feeling like his life was a cross between the Truman show and the zoo – at the forefront.

Now with two children of his own, there is one thing that the Prince does not want to compromise, and it is his children’s online safety.

However, Meghan Markle, a former actress and lifestyle influencer, does not always agree with these strict measures. According to reports, it tends to put them at odds with each other.

Since Meghan Markle returned to Instagram on January 1 last year, she has been consistently sharing pictures of her children.

Granted that their face is always hidden through the ingenious use of one gimmick or another, the fact remains that they’re no longer being given the “privacy” Harry feels little kids deserve.

Apart from using the children’s images, names, and titles to promote her As Ever products, Meghan, 44, has also opted to share fun family moments with her millions of followers. I’m talking Easter hunts, Halloween pumpkin decorations, birthday portraits, and other such special moments.

However, for Archie’s seventh birthday, Meghan is reportedly adamant his face needs to be finally revealed to the world.

“This isn’t the first time this conflict has come up – and there are times it’s been Meghan holding Harry back from showing off pictures of their kids,” a source told New Idea. “But Meghan thinks it’s the perfect time to release a formal set of pictures of Archie for his birthday – especially now her Archie candle’s been released.”

“However, Harry’s starting to worry about Archie and Lilibet losing their titles if they keep pushing the lines between being royalty and monetising it,” the source continued.

This is coming after Meghan Markle was criticized for monetizing her children’s titles just to sell some candles.

Apart from his fear over the loss of titles, he is also afraid that bad people might put a target on his young children. I mean, that was the whole point of not wanting to return to the UK without armed police protection, wasn’t it?

“He’s also fearful of trolls and putting a target mark on their young son’s back. He’s got enough to deal with – plastering his picture to the world online is going to change his life and not necessarily in a good way,” the source said.
