Prince Harry and Meghan Markle came to Cali with an agenda, everyone knows that. They were stifled and mistreated, according to them, in the UK and broke free for freedom in the U.S. Most believe that some kind of show biz project is on their plate and now there is confirmation of that speculation.
Variety has learned that sources are saying that the couple has been shopping an idea for a project around town and under the radar.
What Kind Of Project Are Harry And Meghan Pushing Now?
Apparently the pair took meetings with networks in June. Their pitch has not been revealed and it is unclear whether their proposal would be for a scripted or unscripted TV series, or something different—voiceovers maybe?
What has been spilled is that the two want to be joint producers on the project, since they tons of experience in that area.
According To A Source With Knowledge Of The Top-Secret Markle Idea, They Want To Be Producers
According to insiders the Markle’s have shopped their idea to many media companies, including NBCUniversal. It’s said that a meeting with top executives, including Bonnie Hammer, the chairman of NBCUniversal Content Studios, who knew Markle from her years as an actor on Suits was held.
When contacted by Variety, NBCUniversal declined to comment on the matter and representatives for the couple also declined to comment on this story.
What Kind Of Project Do The Markle’s Think Will Be Worthy Of Airtime?
A source close to Markle told Variety that she no plans to act in the project that was pitched. Of course, she doesn’t, she herself said before she became Mrs. Prince that she never wanted to be a “cliché” L.A. actress. While it’s too late for that, she now has other options that apparently aren’t so beneath her. After her Megxit return, her husband was able to procure her a job as a voiceover as an elephant, so there’s that avenue to pursue as well.
Her voiceover was for Disney and it’s not known if their project was pitched to Disney; a rep from the Mouse House declined to comment as to whether or not Disney executives met with the eager pair.

What kind of project do they think will deserve air time???? Are you kidding me???? Have you looked at what’s on TV lately???? Nothing is worse than the 90 day fiancee series of stupid people doing stupid things and the stupid people who keep having kids to be on TV. Then there is Searching for Bigfoot. Must I go on???? For 2 ppl who wanted their privacy they are always in the press. If they do a reality show wanting privacy was just a lie. They both want money and lots of it. Both are greedy nasty narcissists. They're trying to topple the Monarchy in GB. The both of the Markles want to be more famous and wealthier than Will and Kate. Both are way too " woke " to realize that they are irrelevant in today's world. Strip them of their titles and cut off contact with them. It's the contacts they have that make ppl want them not their intellect or talent.
