While there’s no doubt that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have friends in very high places when it comes to the celebrity world, they unfortunately can’t always stick around and share the good times with them. That’s because they’ve got work to do!
Even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were on hand to celebrate Misha Nonoo and Michael Hess’ wedding they had to leave early to jet back home. Why? Because they are on their way to South Africa! Here’s what you need to know.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, along with a list of stars from the entertainment world, gathered in Rome, Italy this past week to see Misha and Mike tie the knot. In addition to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie were also there from the royal family. Other A-list celebrities including Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Karlie Kloss and her husband, Josh Kushner.
Misha Nonoo And Meghan Markle Have Been Close Friends For Years
Misha and Megan have been close for years. As a matter of fact, it’s been reported that it was Misha who first introduced the former Hollywood actress to the prince! The couple met in 2016, got engaged in 2017 and tied the knot themselves in 2018.
And while Megan would have loved to stay in Rome a little longer with her bestie, she and Prince Harry had to fly back to London (by commercial plane, no less) to pick up their baby boy Archie Harrison.
That’s because the entire Sussex family will soon be embarking on their first royal trip to South Africa together. Prince Harry has said that he’s very excited for the trip and even more excited to introduce his new family to his “second home.”
Prince Harry Looking Forward To Introducing His Wife And Son To Africa
“In just a few weeks our family will be taking its first official tour to Africa, a region of the world that over the past two decades has been a second home to me,” he said.
