Prince Charles is about to celebrate a huge milestone – his 70th birthday on October 25. Reports indicate that his wife Camilla Parker-Bowles is planning a huge, star-studded fete to help mark the occasion at Buckingham Palace. It’s without a doubt that the entire royal family along London’s most important figures and socialites will be there.
In Glasgow this morning, The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay visited the recently restored Mackintosh at the Willow tea rooms.

But unfortunately, his son Prince Harry and his new wife Meghan Markle will be half way around the world. The new royal couple will be Down Under to tour Australia. They are also expected to take a trip to Fiji and Tonga and then return to Sydney before visiting New Zealand for four days.
“It’s going to be a very special night and Charles is very much looking forward to it,” a source told Vanity Fair. “Harry and Meghan can’t be there because they will be overseas. It’s why they were so keen to be at the garden party for Charles back in May.”
Thankfully, Prince Charles will at least have his son Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton by his side to help mark his special birthday. And of course, at least several hundred friends or more!
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle married in a star-studded and lavish ceremony in Windsor Castle back in May.
