Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Looking To Hire A ‘Manny’

It looks as though Prince Harry and Meghan Markle truly are a very progressive couple in the royal family. As a matter of fact, there are new reports that suggest the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are looking to hire a royal male nanny for their future bundle of joy. That’s right – Harry and Meghan wants a ‘manny’ at their Frogmore House near Windsor Castle.

According to Britain’s Express, Meghan Markle is changing the rule book – at least when it comes to the way the royal children are being raised behind palace doors. Sources say that Meghan wants to follow a “modern American approach,” with her future little prince or princess.

One source close to the situation said: “Hiring a ‘manny ‘ is far more common in the U.S. — a nation that Meghan is more in tune with — than in the U.K. She’s keen to introduce the royal family to what she considers a more enlightened, modern American approach.”

Harry Had A Tomboyish Nanny When He Was Growing Up

What’s more, Prince Harry is also very keen on hiring a male nanny simply because he was very close to his own caregiver, Tiggy Legge-Bourke. She was someone who encouraged him to explore the world and the outdoors with his two hands and bare feet.

“Of course, Harry had a very Tomboyish nanny himself in Tiggy who taught him and William about abseiling, fishing and other outdoor pursuits in Monmouthshire,” the insider added. “He and Meghan have discussed nannies and both have open mind to a male nanny. They will definitely try to shortlist one.”

Royal Nannies And Mannies Are Educated At Norland College

Many royal nannies and mannies are educated at Norland College in Bath, England. As a matter of fact, that’s where Prince William and Kate Middleton’s nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo received her training.

So far Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about their nanny and many plans. The Duchess of Sussex is currently on her maternity leave and is expected to give birth sometime in late April. She hasn’t specified whether or not she is expecting a baby boy or a baby girl.
