Like many who watch the news now know, Netflix is under fire for distributing a film that hyper-sexualized pre-teen girls, and which former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard has called “child porn.” Now, fans of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are lashing out in anger that the duke and duchess have done nothing to call out Netflix too. Others suggest that unless Prince Harry and Meghan are willing to return the $150 Million they made off the Netflix deal, there isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that either will speak out against the hand that just fed them.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aren’t the only high-profile individuals to come under scrutiny due to their association with Netflix following the release of “Cuties.” Former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle have also been called out as they too keep their mouths shut over the growing controversy.

This has led to many feelings that both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as well as the Obamas are behaving in a hypocritical manner since both families have publicly talked about the type of content they want to see produced. Namely, Prince Harry and Meghan have talked a lot about producing “family-friendly” and “inspirational programming. Of course, “Cuties” fits neither of Meghan Markle or Prince Harry’s description.

Usually, Meghan Markle’s Twitter groupies sing her praises ad nauseum, but this time there’s a change in the online platform’s atmosphere. Following Netflix’s release of “Cuties” and the subsequent backlash from major U.S. politicians on both sides of the political aisle, fans of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry unleashed their fury.

For example, one Twitter user said, “Silence from @Netflix employees Michelle, Barack, Megan [sic] and Harry on Cuties.’”

Indeed, Meghan and Prince Harry might wake up to find that no one is really interested in watching whatever content they produce since subscribers are leaving the company in droves. As Twitter user, @o_rips Tweeted, “I just showed my wife what @netflix is promoting… She immediately canceled her account… I canceled my account months ago… #CancelNetflix Cancel the social engineers!”

Yet another raged, “The executives at @Netflix need to go to prison. Pedophilia distributed on a global scale?!?!?! #CancelNetflix”

And yet another, “The Obamas and Prince Harry & Meghan have contracts with Netflix. If they really want to use their influence for good, they’ll tell Netflix to drop “Cuties.”

The most telling of them all however was a Tweet that called out Prince Harry and Meghan’s blatant hypocrisy by stating:

“Meghan and Harry have yet to speak against Netflix’s streaming of Cuties. To quote them, ‘if you’re complacent, your complicit.’ If dish-soap was enough to irk Meghan, then why not this?! Come on Meghan & Harry, it’s time to unlock the action and inspire hope! We’re waiting.”

Many readers may recall that not long ago, Meghan Markle gave a political speech wherein she said, “If we aren’t part of the solution, we are part of the problem.”

Meghan And Prince Harry Likely To Remain Silent

With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle apparently finally “Finding Freedom” in the USA and now financially “independent” of Buckingham Palace due to their deal with Netflix, no one should hold their breath waiting for the couple to call out Netflix over anything.

It’s just not going to happen and this is yet another reason why the British Royal Family is correct to be worried about the pressure and influence the Netflix deal will have upon Prince Harry.
