The whole world has been talking about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s mega-million dollar Netflix deal. The one where they get paid to do something they have zero experience doing. It would appear that this deal has netted them their financial freedom, the thing they left the UK to seek.

But what else could the deal net the notoriously thin-skinned couple? Some are speculating that the undeserved deal could pay off in terms of repairing their tattered reputation. In other words, they could use some good, legit PR right about now to counteract all of their spurious lawsuits, throwing his family and her family and their friends under the bus, and their pretentious hypocritical talk. Will The Netflix Deal Have PR Benefits For The Ex-Royal Couple Too?

A source has told Us Weekly that the couple has high hopes that their dealings at Netflix will be a band-aid on their reputation which was rocked by Megxit and further addled by their subsequent conduct.

The source said that an epic platform like Netflix was, “too tempting to resist” for the pair. Already it has proven to be vexing to his family who is said to be consternated that he chose to work with the same outfit that skewers them via the show The Crown.

As a part of their deal with the streaming giant, Harry and Meghan will be producing a broad range of content, according to them, including feature films, documentaries, scripted shows, and children’s programming. Netflix isn’t exactly known for its wholesome and educational content so when an exec at the streamer said they would be producing exciting content, it seemed they weren’t all on the same page.

Not much has been revealed about the blockbuster deal except that the pair have made it known that they plan to use the platform to promote their pet issues as well as their values. Are those the same values that Netflix holds dear? We shall see.

They said in a statement: “Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope. As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us. … [Netflix’s] unprecedented reach will help us share impactful content that unlocks action.”

At the moment they seem to be happy to spend their new money as it is reported that Harry has joined a helicopter club so that he can move his little family around town.
