Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have snubbed King Charles in what some royal experts are calling a show of “entitlement.”
The King of England made his speech during the opening day of Parliament and while it was certainly a big deal for the royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn’t bother to comment about the matter at all. Here’s what you need to know.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle – Snub King Charles In A Show Of ‘Entitlement’
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn’t even make one comment about the King’s speech and of course, many royalists are totally bothered about this back in the UK.
In fact, royal author and expert Richard Fitzwilliams said that the Sussexes are showing their “entitlement” by ignoring such significant moments for the royal family.
In an interview with GB News, Fitzwilliams said, “When he opened Parliament [on Tuesday], King Charles paid tribute to the late Queen.
It was a historic occasion, the first time a King had opened Parliament since 1950. George VI was ill in 1951. The very same day, with particularly inappropriate timing, the Sussexes are back in the news. They deny a report in the Sunday Times that they turned down an invitation to the King’s 75th birthday.”
Royal Family News- Are The Sussexes Acting Entitled?
He continued, “Harry, an insider tells us, will reach out to his father privately. A source has also suggested that the report was timed to distract attention away from the recent trip by King Charles and Queen Camilla to Kenya. The King certainly performed a sensitive balancing act when visiting an important ally in Africa.
The visit, however, has been regarded as a success and this attitude shows the level of the Sussexes’ sense of entitlement. The rift in the Royal Family could not be wider and bemused courtiers must be wondering what comes next. Let us hope that the reported four-book deal with Random House does not lead to another memoir.”
So far both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about the criticism.

Awww it’s so cute of you to think of the Prince Harry. You are right, he doesn’t care about it as he is 5000 miles away and like any typical middle aged son, living his own life. I would expect nothing else from my own children. You might even say the Prince is the better son as he is actually not living off the British Taxpayers. He’s at least self-sufficient and raising his children as he and his wife feel is the best for their family. Oh I forgot, that doesn’t make a good story.
Harry is not self sufficient. Neither is Megan. Pretty soon you will see downsizing because neither of them are capable of holding a job. When Charles finally removes their titles, they will be done.
[…] “It will be Meghan’s truth. There will be a readership for it because she’ll undoubtedly settle some scores from her point of view. What she says she said to the Queen, to Kate, to Philip, all that will be in the book whether corroborated or not, and that’s a goldmine.” […]
