According to The Mirror, a source has claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle plan on opening up presents with Harry’s “surrogate” father, music mogul David Foster. ‘Sir David Foster’ has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?

Multiple Reports Claim That Harry And Meghan Have No Intention Of Visiting His Family For The Holidays

Additionally, a source reportedly told Vanity Fair that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex plan to stay put for the holidays. So there you have it, it looks like baby Archie will miss out on being among the royals but he will be among music biz royalty if he spends time with his Foster grandad.

The Mirror is reporting that the pair will host a Christmas shindig in their new manse and on the guest list is the Canadian record producer and his wife Katharine McPhee, who went to high school with Meghan Thee Duchess.

According to the source, “Meghan very much wants to host the first Christmas at their new home with her mum.” Never mind that Christmas has been canceled for the rest of the world, for the Markle’s the party is apparently on; there is no word yet on whether or not face masks are optional.

The source babbled on, “She’s really excited and is planning on doing all the traditions she grew up with as a child, including the cooking.” Except that of course the tradition of having her father present will go unobserved due to their awkward but well-publicized estrangement.

If they remain in the US it will be the second year that the couple has not been with the Queen and her other royal family members. Apparently they spent last Christmas in Canada with Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, and Archie.
