Now back home, the couple showed their gratitude to Canada and spoke of the country’s hospitality and support.

Harry and Meghan went to Canada House, which is the home of the High Commission of Canada to the United Kingdom. The royal couple wanted to express their gratitude for their host country’s warm hospitality and the support they received while on holiday.

According to People magazine, Harry and Meghan even thanked the employees that worked inside. They also spend a little time talking with those who were waiting outside.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s ‘Reset’

Royals news indicates that Harry and Meghan decided to take the six-week leave of absence in order to reset. It’s been a rocky year for many of those in the Royal Family. As they ended their trip, Ontario resident Jamie Weare said they both seemed “really relaxed and happy.”

Big Changes for 2020

It seems the time away from the spotlight was good for the couple. They posted on their official Instagram account SussexRoyal their plans for the future. They will be stepping down as senior members of the Royal Family. They will also spend half their time in the UK and the other half in North America.

However, this doesn’t mean they won’t be doing important work. They made it clear on Instagram that they plan on focusing on their new charity. They will likely have a lot of other goals and initiatives that they plan on working toward in 2020.

Royal Family Privacy

While on Vancouver Island, it is stated that the couple did get some private time. Janice Charette, High Commissioner in Canada to the United Kingdom said she’s thrilled the couple was able to relax and enjoy themselves. Sometimes that is all that is needed to figure out the next steps.
