Prince Harry and Meghan Markle managed to stay under the radar during their recent trip to Portugal. The royal couple spent a few days with Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie, and her husband Jack Brooksbank, before making their way back home to California. Here’s what you need to know.

Royal Family News: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Visited Princess Eugenie In Portugal 

One source close to the situation said that Harry and Meghan didn’t want their romantic getaway to make headlines, and that’s why they were super quiet about their trip.

They wanted to make sure that their stay in Portugal was quiet enough that the media wouldn’t bother them about it. 

The source said, “They arrived in Portugal without their children and as soon as they landed, they headed to Alentejo and more precisely to Melides.

The choice of this location would have been related to a possible invitation from Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie who, since the start of last year, has been spending a lot of time in this part of the Alentejo because of her husband’s work

Harry and Meghan left Portugal on September 20th and then flew back to London before making their way back home to Los Angeles.

The insider also added, “Accompanied by two bodyguards, they were the last to board BA flight 501 at 11 a.m. bound for London Heathrow Airport.”
