The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be returning to the UK in the coming weeks to visit charities that are close to their hearts. The last time the couple visited the UK, they were accompanied by their children, Archie and Lilibet, to celebrate the Queen’s massive Platinum Jubilee festivities.
But even though the couple will be staying close to Her Majesty’s London residence, it’s still not clear whether they will be able to have a meeting with the monarch.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle – To Visit the UK TWICE In September
It will be exceptionally difficult for the Sussexes to meet the Queen during their UK visit in September because of Her Majesty’s busy schedule.
According to sources close to the Queen, the scheduled events at the beginning of September “cannot be moved.”
Buckingham Palace sources told The Daily Beast that, while they don’t want to start the age-old speculation war regarding whether the Sussex couple will be seeing the Queen or not, the Queen’s constitutional duties is packed.
Harry and Meghan will be in the UK two times in September: the first time will see them visiting the One Young World 2022 Summit in Manchester on Sept. 5, and again on Sept. 8 at the WellChild Awards.
In between these dates, they will reportedly be traveling for an Invictus Games event in Düsseldorf. While they’re likely to stay at their Windsor residence, Frogmore Cottage, it’s not yet confirmed.

The Queen Will Meet Britain’s New Prime Minister On The Sixth Of September
The most public of the Queen’s duties this upcoming September will be to hold an audience with the new PM and invite the winning party to form a government.
Though the meeting is not meant to be lengthy, the Queen will likely want to have extensive briefing notes to prepare for her meeting with the new PM, which, according to The Daily Beast, is likely to be Liz Truss.
The Queen would also probably not want any domestic distractions to interfere with her anointing the next PM, who will conceivably be her last. After the formal activity has concluded, she would then spend a lot of time recounting the memorable moments of the meeting with advisers, and recording it in her private diaries.
So, no time to see Harry and Meghan.
