Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor has reportedly taken very well to his new role of big brother.

Archie, who apparently cuddled up to Meghan’s belly during her second pregnancy, loves being a big brother to baby sister Lili

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their second child, Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor on June 4, and their two-year-old son Archie is apparently “very happy to have a little sister.”

Harry And Meghan Have Been Preparing Archie For Their New Addition

A spokesperson said, “They prepared Archie by talking a lot about the baby. He is too little to understand though. He is big enough though that he is now starting to have his own life too. He enjoys preschool and outdoor activities. He will have a fun summer. Meghan and Harry are also taking time off to focus on their family.”

The couple Are Currently On A 20-Week Parental Leave From Work

The Sussexes shared the joyous news about the birth of their daughter – who has been named after her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth and late-grandmother Princess Diana – in a post on their Archewell Foundation website, announcing that would be taking parental leave as they settle into life as a family of four.

The statement on the non-profit’s website read, “On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe. Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”
