That’s particularly true since Prince Harry has given zero indication of any interest in becoming an American citizen. Moreover, the Duke of Sussex hasn’t even tried to obtain permanent residency in the U.S.A. even though he is married to an American citizen and has now bought an ultra-expensive estate in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods of Santa Barbara County in California.
With all that said, everyone seems to be talking about Harry’s new commitment to creating an income by becoming active in America’s film community. Specifically, insiders have reportedly said that Prince Harry is planning on producing documentaries “connected to good causes.” Moreover, Prince Harry will likely act as a host or presenter, lending his famously former royal face to each project.
Is Meghan Markle Planning A Hollywood Comeback Too?
In a US Weekly article, sources claimed that, “Harry’s determined to make it in Hollywood, just as much as Meghan.” Of course, one has to ask whether Meghan Markle is still committed to a career in Hollywood considering the fact that some have suggested Tinsel Town’s producers aren’t overly enthusiastic about the box office value Meghan Markle could provide. After all, Meghan Markle wasn’t an A-Lister when she jetted off to marry Prince Harry in the first place.
While her acting career was nothing to sneeze at, and Meghan’s last show in which she had a regular role was a hit, some might recall that following Megxit Meghan had a flurry of meetings with producers, acting agents, and casting directors. No film or television projects were forthcoming following Meghan’s slew of consultations with Hollywood creatives.

Of course, that doesn’t mean Meghan Markle won’t try again. With her reputation as someone who must be seen and heard at all costs, Meghan Markle might become too jealous of Prince Harry if he were to become a Hollywood success while she sits home with Prince Archie.
Could Harry Be An Entertainment Fish Out Of Water?
The same insider, speaking to US Weekly suggested that Prince Harry, “always had a creative streak.” Indeed, this source claimed that Prince Harry was always creative, but that creativity really wasn’t nurtured in his role as a senior member of The Firm.
That is, it wasn’t encouraged until Meghan Markle came into Prince Harry’s life. “Working in the entertainment industry isn’t something he particularly thought about doing as royal, but since separating from the royals, he now has the opportunity to explore new, exciting opportunities and can’t wait to get his upcoming projects off the ground.”
