As much as he would love to spend the holiday season back at home, it looks like it’s not going to happen anytime soon. In fact, there’s a new report that suggests Prince Harry won’t be getting the Christmas celebration that he wants.

Even though he went to great lengths to repair his relationship with his father, King Charles, this year, it doesn’t look like Harry, his wife Meghan Markle, and their two children, Archie and Lilibet, are going to be spending the holiday season in the UK with the royal family.

Instead, they are going to do what they’ve been doing each year since they’ve left the royal family, and that’s have a quiet celebration at home in Montecito instead.

The only family member who ever attends Christmas dinner with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle happens to be Doria Ragland. That’s it.

For the Duke of Sussex, there’s no doubt that this has to be a very painful reminder that once again, another year has passed by and nothing has been done to fix his estrangement with his family members, including his brother, Prince William.

Royal Family News: What’s Next For Prince Harry And Meghan Markle?

Sure, he might have spoken to King Charles this year, but it looks like their meeting wasn’t enough to repair what has been broken between Harry and the rest of the monarchy.

Seeing the royal family take their traditional walk to church from Sandringham has to be a painful reminder for Prince Harry that he is not a part of the family anymore, or that he ever will be again.

And as much as he does love Meghan and the family life that they have built in California, Christmas is just not the same without uncles, aunts and cousins running around and just being festive, as most families do.

Instead, each Christmas with Meghan has been a painful reminder that they don’t have many people in their lives and that they only have each other to count on.

So far the Duke of Sussex himself has not made any comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space for more.
