There’s a good reason why he was kept in the dark. There’s a new report that says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will never find themselves back in the good graces of the royal family as both Prince William and Kate Middleton feel as though they can never trust the Sussexes ever again, no matter what happens from this point forward.

Royal historian Richard Fitzwilliams says that it couldn’t have been a good feeling for Harry and Meghan when they turned on the news or read about Kate’s cancer diagnosis through the media.

Even though they are supposed to be close family members, the Prince and Princess of Wales are treating the Sussexes as though they are complete strangers.

In an interview with Time, Fitzwilliams said, “It speaks volumes that Harry and Meghan learnt of the diagnosis from the news. The brothers reportedly haven’t been in contact for months and trust has completely broken down.”

Royal Family News: There’s Broken Trust In The Family

In her heartbreaking video to the world, Kate said last week, “In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous.

The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment.”

She continued, “William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family. As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment.

But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok. As I have said to them; I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body and spirits.”
