According to sources close to the situation, the Duke of Sussex wants his wife to step up. He believes that she should give up her own ego for his sake, too, as he wants to have a relationship with his royal family members again.

Prince Harry thinks that Meghan Markle and only Meghan can end their ongoing feud with the royal family by reaching out to King Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Because while there’s always going to be a chance that the royals will forgive Harry because he’s part of their blood and family, it would certainly be different and maybe even better if the apology came from Meghan Markle first.

Plus, Prince Harry desperately wants to have contact with his family back home in the UK as he thinks it’s unfair that his two children, Archie and Lilibet, are growing up without them in their lives. But of course, it’s up to the Duchess of Sussex to make that change.

The insider put it this way, “Meghan wants Harry’s family to know that she’s not looking to stir up any trouble. The time for pettiness is long gone at this point.”

“That doesn’t mean this will be easy for her, but she prides herself on her diplomacy skills and being able to do hard things. Ultimately, she loves Harry and wants to see him happy again.”

“He misses his family terribly and Meghan has agreed to do her level best to help him and set things right.”

So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the matter.

Should she reach out to the royals and give them the apology they want, remains to be seen.
