As many royal fans know by now, Heart of Invictus is streaming on Netflix. But some people think that Prince Harry is too heavily associated with the event, which some people think is a problem as his involvement takes away attention from the people who actually deserve it – the Invictus athletes. Royal expert and author Angela Levin, who has written books about Prince Harry and Camilla Parker Bowles in the past, believes that Invictus organizers are looking to keep their distance from Prince Harry, despite his popularity.

Some think that Prince Harry should tell less of his story and allow Invictus athletes more time to tell their own.

Levin put it this way in a new interview for GB News, “They’re going to use them as publicity for themselves. I mean, they have loved Harry, they’ve been very good, I’ve been on one with him.

And I’ve spoke to the people who started it and they felt very strongly he was absolutely right [to launch the Games].”

The royal expert also added that organizers are already looking into the future of the Invictus Games and they would like to see one where the Duke of Sussex is less involved, if that’s even possible.

Levin continued, “But now he’s turned it into making him more important than he is now… People in Canada have contacted me to say they’re trying to stop the 2025 one because they don’t want it anymore with them, they’ve got to leave, they don’t want it because he’s ruined it.

Because they’re taking all the spotlight away from them. I mean, they need that help, they need the spotlight.”

So far Prince Harry himself has not responded to the criticism.
