Prince Harry LOSES In Court, Not Entitled To The Same UK Security As Senior Royals

British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry has been dealt a severe blow to his entitled opinion that he deserves free UK security.

According to Time “This week he lost a high court challenge against the British government regarding a 2020 decision by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) to downgrade the level of personal security he receives when visiting the U.K.”

Here’s what that means going forward.

Royal News – Harry Lost His Challenge

The court’s decision means doesn’t mean that Harry is a total loser. He will now receive “a lower level of taxpayer-funded protection than other royals.” And this is to be expected after he and wife Meghan Markle dumped the monarchy for “financial freedom.”

Prince Harry LOSES In Court, Not Entitled To The Same UK Security As Senior Royals

They live in California and no longer perform functions as senior royals. It’s a no-brainer that the court ruled this way given these facts, yet Harry and Meghan don’t seem to traffic in facts, preferring fantasy over logic, per the royal family as in their infamous phrase “recollections may differ.”

Royal Family News – Harry’s Recollections Shot Down

In the challenge, Harry’s lawyers refuted Ravec’s initial decision, insisting that that it was “unlawful and unfair” and claimed that a “successful attack” on Prince Harry would impact the U.K.’s reputation.

Yet the court disagreed. Judge Peter Lane’s decision noted that Harry’s lawyers had “an inappropriate, formalist interpretation of the Ravec process” and the initial 2020 verdict was “legally sound.”

After being rejected twice, will hapless Harry continue to squawk about his right to the same, equal benefits as senior, working royals? Count on it.

Royal Family News – Harry Loses Legal Challenge

The Duke of Sussex’s claim was heard In December. At that time “Home Office lawyers said that Harry could still have access to some taxpayer-funded security provisions … as opposed to automatically provided security detail.”

In turn Harry vowed that not being treated as a senior, working royal “would make it difficult for him to ensure his and his family’s safety should they visit the U.K. Harry and Meghan share two children, Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 2.” Which some might say is a convenient excuse to avoid his family.

Royal Family News – Harry’s Loss

Harry’s lawyers have already said that they will appeal the ruling: “The Duke is not asking for preferential treatment, but for a fair and lawful application of Ravec’s own rules, ensuring that he receives the same consideration as others in accordance with Ravec’s own written policy.”

Tell us royal fans, do you think Harry is beating a dead sock, and would his money be better spent taking care of his family instead of launching losing legal attacks?
