Perhaps feeling the heat to show that he hasn’t abandoned the world entirely, this week 35-year old Prince Harry took part in a video conference.
The occasion was a video conference with those involved in the charity WellChild, of which he is a patron, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Prince Harry’s Teleconference Was Shared On YouTube
The conference was shared on YouTube, and with the man formerly known as Prince in all of his glory, although he was careful not to give away his undisclosed location.
According to Harry, he’s, “not too bad,” although he admitted, “it’s certainly strange times, everyone is experiencing the same thing in a unique way.” I don’t know about you but I’m not holed up in a loaned mansion on the Pacific coast—are you?
Believe it or not, Harry actually talked about 38-year old wife Meghan Markle and 11-month-old son Archie. “I can’t even begin to imagine how hard it is for you guys,” he said to the participants, some of whom have children with health problems. “Having one kid at 11 months old is enough, so to see what you guys are going through on a day-to-day basis, honestly, so much respect to every single one of you.”
Harry Acknowledge His State Of Mind During The Conference Call
So, it appears that Harry is doing okay, at least by his own admission. It’s hard to read too much into the words, “not too bad.” It could mean adequate, mediocre, or simply that he’s hanging in there.
At least he didn’t natter on about his past traumas, as some have stated he has done for a fee.
That would not have served the conference participants well, some of whom depend on health care staff to go to their homes in order to assist their children. Apparently, during the conference, these individuals discussed the challenges of tending to their kids during this unprecedented time of isolation and social distancing.

The prince told the participants, “None of us should be in this situation, but we are.” Harry went on to say that, “Being able to have family time, so much family time where you almost think, ‘Oh, do I feel guilty for having so much family time?’ You’ve gotta celebrate those moments where you just are on the floor rolling around in hysterics because of something that’s happened and then inevitably half an hour later, maybe a day later, there’s going to be something you have to deal with and there’s no way you can run away from it. You can’t even distract yourself in a different room.”
Kudos to you Harry, it sounds like you’re embracing fatherhood and managing the ups and downs with good humor.
