Royal Family News – Prince Harry’s Woes

According to Sky News, “The Royal Family have appeared to have deleted a statement made by Prince Harry defending then girlfriend Meghan Markle from a wave of ‘abuse and harassment’ from the press and internet trolls.”

Specifically, the statement was issued by Jason Knauf, the former Kensington Palace communications secretary, just a few days after Harry the Duke of Sussex went public about his relationship with Markle.

The statement was issued on November 8, 2016, but the Mirror reports that the link to it no longer works, and archive data shows that the announcement was deleted between December 3 and December 10, 2023.

In his foul memoir ‘Spare’ Harry claimed that the statement enraged King Charles and Prince William who “worried they had not defended their wives in a similar fashion.”

In case you didn’t see it, the statement claimed that a line was “crossed” with Markle the victim of a “wave of abuse and harassment.” Kind of like what the Markles did to his family.

And in true Markle fashion, they didn’t identify their trolls and claimed to be victims of unnamed baddies: “Some of it has been hidden from the public.”

Royal Family News – Harry’s Girl

The now-deleted statement was released after The Mail published an article titled “Harry’s girl is (almost) straight outta Compton: Gang-scarred home of her mother revealed—so will he be dropping by for tea?” Their words, not ours.

The statement added that Harry was “worried” about Markle’s safety and “deeply disappointed” he had not been able to thwart media coverage of his girlfriend, which sounds an awful lot like his current croaking about their safety and privacy being ignored.

Which is rich coming from the couple who just spent three days flaunting themselves in the not exactly safe country of Nigeria. But then again, veracity has never been the Markles’ strong suit.
