Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially jet across to Australia. Recently, a spokesperson confirmed the couple visits Sydney and Melbourne in mid-April 2026. Notably, it’s all a very far cry from their 2018 tour. Back then, Meghan’s first pregnancy announcement arrived. Read on for more details.

A Private Tour

The 2026 visit to the Land Down Under brings the couple but not in any royal family capacity. Not even as half-in-half-out members of the Firm. Still, there are some fans who, no doubt, look forward to the event.

It’s all very much about business and philanthropy per Hello Magazine. Expect to see Meghan Markle appear on the Her Best Life podcast with Jackie ‘O’ Henderson. Actually, that seems very much like the route that Gwyneth Paltrow took back in 2023.

The Business Side

Additionally, word on the street has it that Prince Harry’s wife also checks out a big event for women in Melbourne. Of course, that’s all part of her expansion of her lifestyle brand in Australia.

Prince Harry, as usual, mainly focuses on his Invictus Games project. Of course, it’s humanitarian and not a bad thing even if you don’t personally have much regard for William’s brother.

In line with that, he plans on connecting with veterans. After all, he’s got ties with them via the Australian veteran community ever since his military days in Darwin in 2015.

Will They Be Headliners?

Probably, James Holt helped plan the tour for Prince Harry and Meghan. And that seems evident given the timing of the trip. In fact, they touch down in Aussie land just a few weeks after King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark wrap up their official State Visit.

The difference is, that as a private couple, rather than official royalty, they can easily rack up good headlines without playing it by the protocol book of The Firm back in London.

Security & The Kids

Security could be one of the biggest features of their Australian venture. Remember, Prince Harry’s still fighting with the UK Home Office over his protection status.

In fact, after his setbacks, he claimed that the UK’s way too dangerous for the kids, Archie and Lilibet. Notably, he might be right to have some concerns given his stalking incident when he went to court in the UK.

Does that mean, if Australia’s a safer place for the family, that they take the kids on this tour? Well, no. If you hold your breath for that, the youngsters stay back in Montecito.

Australians Are Breath-Holding?

At this time, it’s way too soon to say how jubilant the Australian people will be about the tour. Since their successful 2018 tour, things changed dramatically in public opinion. Actually, pretty much they probably run into some criticsm.

Will the country flock to see them? Well, no doubt plenty of updates arrive going forward. So, remember to check back with us often as we will update you about upcoming royal family news.
