Since then, the Duke of Sussex has stepped back from the spotlight. But a new report reveals Prince Harry planning his first 2022 public appearance. Find out what the Duke of Sussex might reveal below.
Prince Harry Plans ‘Bold Commitment’ Speech In 2022
The Duke of Sussex has devoted this month to planning his first public appearance of 2022, reported the Daily Mail. Prince Harry plans to reveal his challenges in that appearance, which will take place at a virtual summit next month. And while his payment for that appearance didn’t get leaked, insiders believe the speech will help Harry pay for his new life in his $14 million California mansion with Meghan Markle.
The 38-year-old Duke of Sussex will also unveil more personal stories from his years inside the Palace. But beyond offering very personal and possibly controversial tales, Harry plans to discuss the topic of careers. Can Meghan’s husband go one step further in advising people quit their jobs?!
Publicized as a “virtual event,” the February 3 speech will see Harry in his role as Chief Impact Officer at the BetterUp company, said his friend Omid Scobie. “Prince Harry will join CEO @Arobichaux for a virtual event on Feb 3 to discuss their “bold commitment” to the company’s new #InnerWork initiative,” wrote Scobie on social media. “‘Expect to hear the duke talking about personal stories, challenges, and successes.”
What Bombshells Will Harry Drop In 2022 Speech?
Since stepping back from his royal family duties with Meghan Markle, Prince Harry does need to earn his own keep. As a result, the BetterUp speech may boost his payments from the company, speculate insiders. But the announcement also sparked rumors of additional bombshells from the 38-year-old.
Last year, Prince Harry unveiled his feud with his father and accused a royal family member of racism. What’s left for the Duke of Sussex to reveal? A clue lies in his most recent speech from his position at Betterup.
In that presentation, Prince Harry offered his now-famous career advice. The Duke of Sussex recommended others quit their jobs to improve their mental health, just as he did. Given that recommendation caused social media to label him a “woke, privileged, royal hypocrite,” Harry may try to soften his jobs tips in his upcoming speech.
As Chief Impact Officer for BetterUp, Harry has described his efforts as championing “the mental health awakening.” And he also expressed his desire to “pioneer the conversation.” Recently, the company’s value has risen to $4 billion in the wake of receiving new funding from Silicon Valley investors.
